VITALS

by Rosamund Small

An enhanced staged reading of the multiple-award-winning drama comes to Peterborough!

A female paramedic in uniform giving a presentation on stage with a black background.
A woman with reddish hair, wearing a dark gray shirt and black pants, performing on stage with a microphone headset, gesturing with her hands, with a bathtub and wicker furniture in the background.

Vitals is the unforgettable story of Anna, a no-nonsense paramedic in Toronto who reaches her breaking point. Based on in-depth interviews with EMS workers, Vitals is masterfully written, and anchored by an incredible performance from Katherine Cullen who originated the role in Toronto.

Vitals has been widely praised by paramedics and other first responders for offering civilian audiences a real glimpse into the life of an EMS worker, and the unseen toll the work can take on the people we count on to save our lives.

Content advisory: Vitals contains intense scenes, themes of suicide, and coarse language. Not for children.
