NEW MAGIC VALLEY FUN TOWN
by Daniel MacIvor
Sun Mar 26, 2023, 7:30 pm

One of Canada’s greatest playwrights brings us a remarkable new work. On Cape Breton Island, best friends from childhood reunite after 25 years apart for a night of drinking, laughing, and sharing old memories--but some of those memories aren’t easily washed away. Funny, sad and ultimately hope-filled, this is a play about the long shadow of childhood trauma, and coming to terms with the person you've grown up to become. Destined to be a Canadian classic.

Featuring: Shawn Wright, Beau Dixon, Linda Kash, and Peyton LeBarr

A staged reading at Market Hall, 140 Charlotte St.

* The participation of all of these artists is arranged by permission of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association under the provisions of the Dance-Opera-Theatre Policy.
